2025 Travel Year in Review - Family Travel, Road Trips & Fiji

Happy New Year everyone!

I haven’t written one of these yearly round-up posts in about five years - back when I had a lot more countries to add to the list. But I thought I’d bring it back just for fun, especially now that I’ve gotten back into blogging in 2025.

Feel free to scroll back through my older posts for much more adventurous round-ups (haha) - just look at 2018! But honestly, looking back - with two little ones now, one of whom is umm not a great traveller yet - getting away as much as we did last year actually feels like a pretty big achievement.

The year had its fair share of ups and downs, but overall it’s been another lovely one spent raising my two beautiful kiddos - always my number one priority.

Work-wise, I filmed some beautiful weddings across the Wairarapa and Wellington region and was lucky enough to collaborate with some amazing brands along the way.

Travel-wise, I saw a lot of New Zealand - from Auckland to Bluff - I visited the South Island three separate times, enjoyed a dreamy overseas family holiday to Fiji, went to two concerts to see one of my all-time favourite bands, and squeezed in a couple of classic North Island roadies.
