I'm delighted to share the happy news that a future world traveller is on her way. (If you follow me on Instagram, then you'll know this already!). I'm at the final countdown with one month to go.
I've been very lucky to have had an easy and smooth pregnancy. Let's hope the birth stays on that trend! Other than being super busy working full-time as a videographer this year, this could be another reason for the lack of blog posts in 2021 - I kind of have other things on my mind!
So I thought I'd share this little update as there may not be any more posts for the foreseeable future.
That doesn't mean I'm finished with this blog, or done travelling. Heck no! In fact, my husband and I are planning our first international trip in two years (thanks to Covid) in November for our five-year wedding anniversary (providing New Zealand's travel bubbles are still working and it's safe to do so, of course).
Which means our little lady will be four months old for her first big adventure (lucky thing - I was twenty years old when I left the country for the first time!).

I'd love to write helpful blog posts for other future travel families once I navigate the whole thing myself! We are also planning on doing a South Island road trip at some point, perhaps over the Christmas break.
We can't wait and are so excited to meet our new little adventure buddy. This girl is going to grow up experiencing the world in ways I could have only dreamed of.
We have been busy doing last-minute renovations on our house and getting everything all nice and prepared for her arrival.
That's about it for this post. I'm more active on Instagram and will be sharing updates over there.
Below are a few more photos from my pregnancy journey.
